Privacy Policy
Dishour (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Dishour platform at dishour.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — business name, email address, phone number, and address provided during signup.
- Order data — products, quantities, prices, and order status associated with your account.
- Contact form submissions — name, email, company, message, and the role you select (restaurant or supplier).
- IP address — collected automatically when you submit a contact or inquiry form. We use this to detect abuse, prevent spam, and comply with our US-only access policy.
- Usage data — standard server logs including browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate the platform and process orders between restaurants and suppliers.
- To respond to contact and support inquiries.
- To send transactional notifications (order confirmations, status updates, invitations) via email.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. IP Address Collection
When you submit a contact or support form, your IP address is recorded alongside your submission. This information is visible only to Dishour administrators. We use it solely to identify and block abusive or spam submissions and to enforce our geographic access restrictions.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only with the following service providers, as necessary to operate the platform:
- Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
- Vercel — web hosting and edge network.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
Each provider processes data only as instructed and under their own privacy policies.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and order data for as long as your account is active. Contact form submissions, including IP addresses, are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at admin@dishour.com.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard measures including row-level security on our database, HTTPS-only access, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@dishour.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
